I shot this week for my breadth. This weekend I am going to start taking new picture of my other idea to see how that goes and than I will shoot them over the break. I am excited to start this new idea because I have been noticing it a lot lately and I think it will add some mystery to my project. Thanks for being so understanding to all my changes!!

I have been coming up with new bucket list ideas for my concentration but I have also been focusing on my breadth. I am re-shooting the puppet scene but I am going to take your idea and paint/draw the puppet master on the background in order to take my photos to the next level. I cant wait to see how it comes out! I also shot for my concentration today and will be editing and adding those pictures to my folder bu next week.

I am so happy that my film actually came out! I am back on track with my concentration and I'm super excited. I also took my picture on regular camera so I would have them so I am deciding if I really want to use film or not. I think it would be cool to print one in the dark room and than color it in with colored pencils, like what Rachael did for her final project last year.

This weekend I am focusing on talking more bucket list ideas! Next week I plan on working in the studio and working on my other idea. I hope to have t least 6 picture for that project before the end of the month. Which ever picture I like better I will make that my concentration. However I will still work on the other project for my breadth. I am also making the people I am taking pictures of come up with their own bucket list ideas. I am excited to start shooting the other project and see how it goes!

I'm really upset that my pictures didn't turn out.. It's very depressing! I worked so hard on them! But I guess it gives me an opportunity to see what else I can come up with. But I feel like I'm so behind everyone because they all have a ton of pictures. But I also want to start shooting the other idea I had to see where it goes. I'm excited to develop my pictures on Monday!

So while I was sick this week... I got inspired by some pinterest ideas to take some pictures of mysterious things. I am excited to create my own ideas by being inspired by these pictures. I do however need to listen to you, when you said that if I keep seeing other people's ideas that I will run out of my own ideas.

Update on concentration:
I shot the dumpster diving picture, road trip picture, may picture, closet picture. I have been experimenting with the different types of exposure and lighting. I am shooting the Hollywood picture tomorrow and that some other ideas this weekend. I'm excited to see how they come out!

This week I took a roll of pictures on the holga. I am really excited to process the film and see how my picture have turned out. I am really excited because I have been experimenting what the different setting and flash. I am shooting this weekend for the road trip and the little girl! I can't wait to shoot! I also want to focus on doing other projects as well. just mini ones that I can do so it will help my Breadth. I want our class to be more like last years AP class. but while I am still focusing on my concentration I am going to try to do little projects to help me get more pictures!

This week I figured out what I really want to work with film camera's. I want to do the dip tic and maybe even a trip tick for some of my pictures. I like the road trip Idea. I'm SOOO excited to go out and shoot. I really feel that all my ideas are finally coming together. I can't wait to see if my pictures turn out. I also want to focus on my breadth. I took some texture picture last night and I plan on doing this really cool one. I will explain more in class. I'm so excited I can't wait to start shooting this weekend!!!

After showing my awful pictures this week I think that I will move forward in the way of taking something so simple such as "Going to Hollywood" but go to a different Hollywood than what everyone will expect! I like the idea of actually going dumpster diving with all the diving equipment. I really want to focus on doing the little things instead of trying to be so creative. I think that it will add more to my pictures and the theme of the project. I am shooting this weekend and I am excited to see how the dumpster diving pictures will turn out. I also want to focus on the "models" having fun while they're doing this. After all it is a bucket list and you should have fun doing the items on it. I am also going to do some research on some other artists that focus on bucket list type items. I am really grateful for this opportunity and I look forward to capturing the pictures I have in my head on paper!

I am still thinking about the last three bucket list ideas but they are going to be the best!! I do like Mr. Zimmerman's idea of a human magnet. I just don't know how I could clearly execute it.

Progress on my pictures:
I am working on getting all the elements to be perfect before I shoot. I feel like it is important because I don't want to waste time having to re-shoot because I didn't think ahead before shooting. I want to try to get everything like places, people, and ideas down before I begin because I think it will help make my pictures better by having the elements worked out. I look forward to shooting and I look forward for Maddie's and I to make our AP class just like last years!!

My new idea is to take items off a bucket list and show the act of preparing for or the act of actually completing the item on the list. So far my "Bucket List" options are:
1.) Put vanilla in a Mayo jar and eat in public
2.) Snorkel in a public fountain
3.) Pretend to be a Walmart Greeter and greet everyone with awkward hugs
4.)  super glue a coin to the ground
5.) Dress up in a shirt that says life and hangout lemons
6.) Propose to a stranger with a ring pop
7.) Send letter to a random address ( and see if they reply)
8.) take pictures of random people on the streetand capture there expressions and than give then the pictures.
9.) Be a tourist in my own town

last three ideas are coming!!

My T-shirt idea I think it would be cute to have cute saying like:

"It's a photo thing"
"I would hang that in my closet"
"I can fix that in photoshop"

The pictures I took I really like the facial expressions and how I can use different pictures to tell a story. I would like to try to get different ages that will be affected by the story I am trying to tell through them. I will need to work on getting the image I have in my head translated to my pictures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

As we started our breath critics I realized that I need to create and capture better pictures. I would to like to try to do this by one... redo shooting my puppetry project with new models and different costumes. I also would like to shoot new pictures with natural items and with animals. I also really like the idea of shooting river rocks or many sand dollars that have been drawn on.

Idea 1:
Creating DIY things out of boxes. I think creating things like a lemonade stand, photo booth, and a school bus. I like the idea because it shows innocent things that were so popular and common when I was growing up but it is some what rare to see them anymore.

Idea 2:
I want to experiment with taking a picture without my glasses and with my glasses on because I want to see what I feel like is in focus  without my glasses and what actually is when I have my glasses on. I think that this will show the different perspective i have verse other people.

Idea 3:
My last idea that I have it to use facial expressions to tell a story. I would like to focus on how gossip can affect different age groups and how "verbal abuse" can cause harm too. I think that throughout high school I have had my fair share of abuse from gossip and I think that capturing the affect that it has on different age groups will show just how hurtful and damaging it can be. I also want to incorporate technology and how it has an affect on little girls or the younger generations.
